Senior Services Department

Interfaith believes it is important to offer encouragement and connect our
senior adult neighbors to resources that promote independent and rich lives. Interfaith Senior Services Department
provides a network of resources and referrals to seniors and their families to address the specific needs of
older adults. Senior Services also provides a variety of programs and activities to enhance the lives of our community's
older residents.
The following Senior Care and Wellness programs are provided by Interfaith
with the support of dedicated volunteers:

 Transportation Assistance: Provides area seniors with rides to necessary
medical appointments
Benefit Options Program: Provides
information, counseling and assistance to seniors regarding eligibility and enrollment in money saving prescription
programs, public benefits and other available services
Information and Referral: Offers
resources and advice regarding area wide senior services
Religious Services: Provides
worship services for transportation-dependent seniors for nine senior housing complexes
Music Therapy: Provides music
programs for seniors' participation and entertainment
Activities & Educational
programming for Senior Communities: Provides opportunities for seniors to learn and participate with others (The senior calendar is posted in local papers)
