Family Services Department

Interfaith understands there are times when unexpected events occur in the lives of families and individuals that often result in financial difficulties. During those times, Interfaith Family Services Department is here to help. In 2005, Family Services assisted over 2,300 families in our community.

Programs Include:
Direct financial assistance for rent/mortgage and utilities
Prescription drug assistance for children and adults
 Gasoline Vouchers
Clothing assistance through The Hand-Me-Up Shop
Food from the Interfaith Food Pantry
 School supplies assistance
Holiday assistance through Interfaith's Holiday Programs

Interfaith of The Woodlands provides assistance to those who reside in South Montgomery County (zip codes 77380-77386). Referrals to our Family Service Department come from numerous sources including: area churches, schools, individuals, civic associations, and other social service organizations.

Interfaith evaluates needs, calling upon partnering agencies and organizations to help with the current crisis. By taking a holistic and collaborative approach, Interfaith Family Services can help solve a problem, not merely apply a band-aid approach.
